Pricing & Turnaround
How much does SDS translation cost?
Pricing starts from RM0.35/word, depending on language pair, hazard complexity and volume. Your Free SDS Assessment gives you an exact quote before you commit.
How long does a standard translation take?
Most SDS translations are delivered in 2–3 business days. Urgent/rush turnaround is available for launch-critical timelines.
Do you offer discounts for bulk or ongoing volume?
Yes — our Portfolio/Retainer option is built for teams translating 10+ SDS documents or managing an ongoing chemical inventory.
Is there a minimum order size?
No minimum — we translate single SDS documents as well as large multi-document batches.
Compliance & Regulations
What regulations do you translate SDS for?
We translate to Malaysia's CLASS Regulations 2013 (DOSH) and Singapore's SS 586 (GHS-aligned), covering both bilingual (Malaysia) and English-baseline (Singapore) requirements.
Do you support CIMS and MyEHS reporting for Malaysia?
Yes — see our dedicated CIMS Reporting Guide and MyEHS Import/Export Guide for how translated SDS data feeds into both systems.
What happens if a translated SDS is later found non-compliant?
We back every translation with a 100% Compliance Guarantee — if a regulator flags a compliance issue in our translation, we correct it at no charge.
Do you translate for industries outside chemicals, like pharma or electronics?
Yes — see our Industries page for the sectors we specialize in, including pharmaceutical, electronics, petrochemical and more.
Process & Confidentiality
Is my SDS data kept confidential?
Yes. Uploaded documents are treated as confidential business information and are not shared or reused outside your project. NDAs are available on request.
What file formats can I upload?
PDF, Word (.doc/.docx) and Excel (.xls/.xlsx), up to 20MB per file.
Who actually translates my SDS — a machine or a person?
A human, chemistry-literate translator, with QA review against the source document. We don't rely on generic machine translation for regulated safety content.
What languages do you support?
Our primary pair is English ⇄ Bahasa Malaysia. We also support export-tier languages including Simplified Chinese — see our Languages page for the full list.
