Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our SDS translation services. By submitting a document or placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a Safety Data Sheet for translation, requesting a quote, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
We provide translation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and related documents into the 16-section GHS format, targeted at compliance with Malaysia's CLASS Regulations 2013 and Singapore's SS 586, among other supported languages and markets described on this site. Final regulatory acceptance of any submitted document remains the responsibility of the client and the relevant regulatory authority.
3. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that the source document you provide is accurate, complete, and that you have the legal right to submit it for translation. We rely on the accuracy of the source content and are not responsible for errors that originate in the source document itself.
4. Quotes & Pricing
Published pricing (from RM0.35/word) is indicative. Final pricing is confirmed after your Free SDS Assessment and depends on language pair, document complexity, and volume. Quotes are valid for the period stated at the time they are issued.
5. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in a retainer arrangement, payment is due prior to delivery of the final translated document. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time of quoting. Late or non-payment may result in translation work being paused or withheld.
6. Delivery & Revisions
Standard delivery is 2–3 business days from confirmed scope and receipt of any required source materials; rush turnaround is available on request. We provide one round of revisions for translation accuracy at no additional charge; substantive changes to scope or source content may be quoted separately.
7. Confidentiality
We treat all client-submitted documents as confidential business information. See our Confidentiality & Data Security page for full detail, including how to request a signed NDA before sharing sensitive content.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your source document and its content. Upon full payment, ownership of the delivered translated document transfers to you. We retain no rights to reuse your proprietary chemical or formulation data.
9. Limitation of Liability
While we back our translations with a 100% Compliance Guarantee and correct any translation-caused compliance issue at no charge, we are not liable for regulatory outcomes arising from inaccuracies in the source document, from the client's use of the translated document, or from changes in law occurring after delivery. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the specific translation giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an in-progress project by written notice. You remain responsible for payment for work completed up to the point of termination. Retainer arrangements may include their own notice period, as agreed separately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia for clients contracting our Malaysia services, and by the laws of Singapore for clients contracting our Singapore services, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
