How We Handle Your Documents
Every SDS you upload is treated as confidential business information from the moment it arrives. Access is limited to the translators and QA reviewers directly assigned to your project — your documents are never shared with third parties, used for marketing, or reused on other projects without your written permission.
NDAs Available on Request
If your organization requires a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement before sharing SDS content — common for unreleased products or proprietary formulations — we're glad to execute one before any document changes hands. Just mention it during your Free SDS Assessment.
Storage & Security
Uploaded files are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled systems. Internal access follows a least-privilege model — only the people working on your project can open your files, and all file access is logged.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain project files only as long as needed to deliver your translation and support any follow-up revisions, unless you've asked us to keep them on file for a retainer arrangement. You can request deletion of your source and translated documents at any time — see our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle personal data specifically.

Will you sign our company's own NDA?
In most cases, yes — we're able to review and sign a client-provided NDA. Flag this during your Free SDS Assessment so we can turn it around before any files are shared.
Who has access to my uploaded SDS files?
Only the translators and QA reviewers assigned to your specific project. Access is not shared across the wider team by default.
Do you use AI or machine translation on our documents?
Translation is performed by human, chemistry-literate linguists with QA review. We don't route your proprietary SDS content through public machine-translation tools.
Can I request my files be deleted after the project?
Yes — contact us any time after delivery and we'll remove your source and translated files from active storage, outside of what we're legally required to retain.
